What Makes Blast the Bass Unique?

You don’t really need to trigger bonus rounds to achieve big payouts in Blast the Bass, and that’s what makes it a unique casino game. 

Bonus Features, Bonus Gameplay & Special Features

At first, we thought that this game was going to feature similar mechanics and symbols to Big Bass Bonanza, and even though it does share some similarities, Blast the Bass takes the classic fishing slot gameplay to the next level. These are the main symbols that you’ll find in the game, apart from low-paying and high-paying symbols:

• Wilds: the fisherman symbol is this slot wild. It substitutes all other symbols in the game to create winning combinations.
• Scatters: the TNT symbols is this slot’s scatter. 
• Credit symbols: fish symbols are what we refer to as “credit” symbols, which mean that they have values that go from 2x to 1,000x the amount of your bet. But beware: the value shown in these symbols only gets added to your payouts when a Fisherman wild is also on the reels!
• Fish Coin: the game features a coin icon that shows up with a 10x multiplier at any point in the reels. In the base game, it goes down to the bottom of the reels and increases its multiplier to 20x, 50x, and 100x respectively as it moves. During free spins, it moves one position downwards per spin. If you land a win with a wild symbol with a Fish Coin on your screen, the value of the coin will multiply its payout.

Collect three or more scatter symbols to trigger this slot’s free games. 

• 3 scattersymbols grant 10 free spins.
• 4 scattersymbols grant 10 free spins with a 2x multiplier.

During these rounds, a panel with gray symbols shows up on top of the reels. Each wild that you get during the spins will fill up one of the symbols, granting additional free spins with payout multipliers that go up to 100x. 

These rounds are similar to those of Big Bass Bonanza, but they have one key difference: additional spins are added every time a wild symbol appears; you don’t need to collect three symbols to trigger additional spins. 

We really enjoyed the free spin rounds, and found ourselves using the “Bonus Buy” option to trigger as often as possible.

Bonus Buy

Click on the Star Symbol to access the Bonus Buy option, which allows you to pay additional money to trigger some of the game’s best mechanics. The RTP of buying each feature is fully disclosed in-game, which we really liked. 

You can pay extra to trigger 100x Fish Coins, the Fish Rain feature (which guarantees fisherman + fish payouts), or standard free games. You can also force the game to enter Hot Mode (bonus round with 5 scatters)

The game also features a 25% Bet Increase option, which gives you a better shot at triggering free games by wagering extra cash per spin.
